There is a D&D Event on Saturday/Sunday Night that I’ll once again be running. Light hearted creature battles!
Anyone who plays can choose 3 creatures from the gallery below, along with a trainer and class feat.

Companions Only Combat

Your companion shares your initiative count [D20+6 for newbies], but takes its turn immediately after your own. Only takes the Dodge action, unless you spend an Action or Bonus Action on your turn to command it. (Those actions can be in its statistics or some other action, bonus action, or object interaction.)

Healing

Twice Per Battle - you can use an Action to restore hit points to your companion equal to your spellcasting ability modifier (minimum 1) plus an additional 2d4.
